4. School of Rock (2003)

Jack Black gives the performance of his life as Dewey Finn, a passionate musician and hapless slacker who pretends to be a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. There, he meets a group of musically-gifted, straight-laced students, whom he transforms into a rock band under the guise of a “class project”. A stellar cast and a knockout final concert scene make School of Rock worth a watch … and a rewatch.

5. Set It Up (2018)

The plot: As far as Netflix’s romantic comedy fare goes, Set It Up is one of the best. If their bosses are happily in love, they won’t ask their assistants to work overtime. Of course, neither assistant plans on catching feelings for one another. Expertly acted and refreshingly free of cloying rom-com cliches, Set It Up is a light, genuinely funny movie that will win over the most serious of viewers.
